NNC during its general meeting held on May 11 at Yoruba village, Chakhesang region has adopted five points resolutions stated A press release by NNC president, ‘gen.’ (Retd) Thenoselie M. Keyho and vice president, Thupushuyi S. Keyho.
The resolutions adopted are: 1. The NNC solemnly acknowledges that God is the Sovereign Lord over the Earth and the entire universe and so to Him we give all the Glory and honour for the success of the NNC General Meeting 2016.
2. The NNC expresses our profound gratitude to the Chakhesang region for hosting the NNC general meeting 2016.
3. The NNC will extend full support to the president and his executive council towards revitalising, strengthening and pursuing the mandate of the Naga people as the original political institution.
4. The NNC will continue to abide by and adhere to the principles of Non-violence and mutual respect for realizing Naga national aspiration.
5. The NNC reaffirms to stand by the 14th August Declaration of Naga Independence of 1947 and the 16th May Naga Plebiscite of 1951.
