Azo inaugurates Phek Town ‘welcome gate’

Phek town “welcome” gate was inaugurated by Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu, MLA on Thursday at Phek town.
Inaugurating the gate, Azo said progress could only happen if new initiatives, plans and ideas were taken up and added that the present ideas and plans were not enough for “us” to progress further.
“Our progress will come to a grinding halt unless we refill our engines with the wisdom of inspiration and the fuels of fresh and new ideas”, said Azo.
Expressing happiness and satisfaction over the fulfillment of long awaited dreams to provide good roads, Azo eulogized the quality workmanship of the contractors saying “the roads of the district headquarter has finally become a reality thereby being set a living example to the people of the town”.
Azo also appreciated the contractors and the PWD (R&B) department specially the EE, PWD (R&B), Phek division and all rank and files of the department for the completion of the work as scheduled and at the same time for providing the best roads with quality workmanship in Nagaland. 
The MLA also thanked the government of India and government of Nagaland for the timely released of funds for the completion of the roads. Ex-minister Vejoi Vero and Ex- MLA Chekhutso also spoke on the occasion.
The function was chaired by EE, PWD (R&B) Phek, Abija Khing while vote of thanks was proposed by president Phek Area Public Organization (PAPO), Vezhehu Vero.
