WEC forest colony GMS clarify

Apropos the news item ‘GMS in Kohima lacking proper toilet’ published on March16, Government Middle School (GMS) Ward Education Committee (WEC) Forest Colony has issued a clarification. In a press note, WEC chairman Velatso Demo stated that the school has two brick wall toilets for both girls and boys with four compartments. Demo said that one unit was removed for the school upgradation site. “The picture published was first constructed before the functioning of the GPS, meant only for the workers in construction”, Demo said. He further welcomed the inspection team to visit abnd observe the same.
