
Voting began to select the winner of “The Next Superstar,” a programme on modelling, dancing and acting for female, organised by Wrecking Balls Studio & Entertainment (WBSE) in Dimapur on Thursday.
The voting will be carried out through cards, which were already distributed to the 14 contestants. The last date for receipt of voting cards will be Feb 29.
Viewers can cast their votes through cards to choose their favourite winner. The name of the winner will be announced during the finale to be held at Town Hall Dimapur from 4 p.m. on March 4.
The winner will receive a Rs 1 lakh in cash apart from crown. She will also be given the opportunity to make entry to Bollywood through movie to be made by WBSE. Two runners up will also be crowned and they can also make entry to Bollywood through music albums to be made by the organiser group.
The auditions for the second season took place on February 11 at Town Hall Dimapur, where all the 15 contestants showed their performance in presence of huge crowd.
To give an exposure to hidden talents in Nagaland, WBSE has organised the first-ever competition “The Next Superstar”, which attention of many youngsters in the city.
Miss Asia Rewatri Chetri, Dr. Aleena Terangpi and Lorence Kachari were among the judges of the programme who will finally decide the fate of the winners.
WBSR has already made strong presence in Bollywood by making several feature films and music albums with Ms Asia Rewati Chetri as focal point of attraction.
