Nagaland State Rural Livelihoods Mission (NSRLM) block mission management unit, Satakha block under Zunheboto district organised a community level gender sensitization on May 8 at Indoor Stadium, Satakha.
A press release by NSRLM Satakha block stated that the resource persons for the programme were district coordinator financial inclusion Zunheboto, Kitoho, block program manager Satakha block, Tolika Sema and area coordinator Satakha block, Mughaholi. The release stated that the resource persons spoke on various topics like integration of gender within core values and themes of NRLM, gender conceptual clarity, socialization and social construction of gender, gender in life cycle approach, gender division of labour, social development and women empowerment, gender based violence, rights and entitlements, women and protective legislation, institutional mechanisms within NRLM to address gender issues and integration, gender action plans and vulnerability reduction plans. The keynote address was delivered by ADPM Zunheboto, Vika Yeptho and area coordinator Satakha, Davis, chaired the programme which was attended by the village council members, GBs, church leaders, NGOs, members of SHGs, VLOs and BLF.
