CSC meeting with deptts

Family counselling centre under Care and Support Society (CSC) Mokokchung organised an interface meeting with women and child related departments on May 24 at CSS office premises.
A press release from CSC managing director, Imchawati Kichu stated that SDPO Mokokchung, Dinesh Gupta delivered a short speech related to children in distress, giving information about the scenario of children in need of care and protection in Mokokchung. He explained that more than thirty percent of children in India remain unreached, some had gone missing. He went on to speak about how missing children were dragged away to different parts of India. He said that lost children can be located through Addhaar cards with the help of bio metric finger print also a unique chip called RIFD tag is given to a child in order to see how far a child goes and the length of time a child is missing. He also said that at least seven to eight children that went missing in Mokokchung were being reported and so far three children has not being located till today. 
CDPO (North), Talisangla gave a brief on the benefits and services for children and women. Makshi Jamir representative from CMO shared a talk on programmes and schemes related to women and children like PMSHA, JSY, and ARSH. The meeting was chaired by CSC managing director, Imchawati Kichu.
