Sainik School cadets visit 37 AR

As part of training, 45 cadets of class XI from Sainik School  Punglwa along with three staff visited 37 Assam Rifles (AR) camp, Medziphema on October 13 and 14. 

During the visit, cadets were enthralled by the modern weaponry displayed and fire demonstration and expressed their desire to join armed forces as officers. The team also visited Regimental Institutes, Training cell and Simulator Room and witnessed company routines. 

Officiating principal Lt. Col Jitendra Dogra, in his address to the cadets on their return to school said that such tours and visits in groups widen up the thinking horizon of the cadets and allow them to have unique experience. He also expressed his gratitude to Commander, 6 Sector Assam Rifles for providing an opportunity to the cadets to have a glimpse of AR life.
