Chumukedima Town Council (CTC) has informed hoteliers and jewellers within Chumukedima jurisdiction that use of domestic LPG cylinders and electric stove in restaurants/hotels would be restricted.
All hoteliers have been requested to use commercial LPG cylinders (19kgs), adding violators would be penalized with a sum of `10,000. CTC said the order would come into effect from August 10 and would remain in force till further order. All concerned have been requested to comply strictly with the directive.
