Sao Chang College Tuensang (SCC) observed its 42nd Freshers’ meet on July 25.
During the programme, SCC principal Dr. Imliwati urged the students to perform well in the academic and bring good results for the college. He encouraged the students to be responsible individuals by contributing in various areas.
The programme saw the declaration of Anuka Ayemi and Mongsen Sanglawere as Mr and Miss Freshers’ 2015 respectively. Academic excellence certificates were awarded to successful students during the programme.
Earlier at the programme welcome address was delivered by SCC students’ union, cultural secretary Khoni Chaba, while speech on behalf of the freshers’ was delivered by Changshau. Special songs were presented by T. Chongshen and duet by Kiukhum and Shokum.
