Office of the Commissioner of Police, Dimapur has reminded all the owners of hotels, lodges, inns, guest houses and resorts within the jurisdiction of Dimapur district to register under Sarias Act 1867 within August 31, 2015 failing which appropriate action would be initiated as per the law. In a press release, Dimapur Police PRO cautioned that penalties could include closure of operations of Sarias. It has been informed that forms under the Sarias Act 1867 were available at the office of the Commissioner of Police, Special Branch, Dimapur.
