A day-long seminar on leadership and briefing on “Leaders walk the talk’ jointly organised by New Market Area Panchayat (NMAP) and New Market Youth Organisation (NMYO) was held on August 28, at NMAP Hall, Kohima.
Co-ordinator, Global Indigenous Prayer Network, Australia & ambassador of Overseas Naga Association, Reverend Luoliehu Yimsung was the resource person.
He said the purpose of the event was to awake, alert, motivate, challenge upon the role, commitment and responsibilities etc. of the leaders.
He shared on the important roles and qualities of leader.
According to Reverend Luoliehu next “Leaders walk the talk” would be on October 17, at Kohima.
New Market Area Panchayat & New Market Youth Organisation extended their support and cooperation and appealed the colonies/ wards, organisations to come forward and participate in the ‘leaders walk the talk’.
Hundreds of panchayat, youth executives, church leaders, parents and elders attended the seminar.
Later, vote of thanks was delivered by New Market Area Panchayat chairman Kuotsuwhelie.
