NPF Zunheboto division holds review meeting

Accordingly, all party functions and duties will be discharged by following unit A/C presidents: Kughaho Assumi 31 A/C Akuluto, Vikishe 32 A/C Atoizu, Kihoi 33 A/C Suruhuto, Hoito 34 A/C Aghunato, Ghokuto Zhimo 35 A/C Zunheboto and Kiyeho Awomi 36 A/C Satakha under directives and guidance of central office NPF. 

Narrating the sequence of political crisis and development, Huskha Yepthomi said “NPF is not a political party but it has now emerged as peoples’ movement”.

In his address, Huskha urged party workers to maintain “reconciliation and accommodative spirit” among party workers. He concluded by warning party workers to “desist from anti-party activities as the party will have zero tolerance”. In brief addresses, visiting central office NPF secretaries and review committee panel, Tsethugo Lotha and Setso Puro asserted and exhorted “the contemporary political era in Nagaland is under NPF dominance” and “every party man and worker should uphold party principles irrespective of family inclinations or roots”.

Two-point resolution was also adopted in the meeting: division and unit presidents and party workers empowered to discharge all functions and duties of the NPF party thereon; former division and unit party workers/leaders are welcomed to join the party mainstream provided they assure “rededication and commitment” towards the party.

Earlier, the programme was chaired by Akavi Sumi, president, Zunheboto division while Inavito Sumi, general secretary, Zunheboto division recorded proceedings. The programme began with an invocation by Ghokuto, president, 35 AC Zunheboto which was followed by an introductory speech by Khuketo Yeptho, general secretary (adm), Zunheboto division.

Former parliamentary secretary (industries and commerce) and NPF candidate 35 AC Zunheboto, Dr. KC Nihoshe also addressed the gathering; the program concluded with vote of thanks proposed by division youth president Kato followed by a mass benediction prayers.
