ENPO endorses ENSF ultimatum

Eastern Nagaland People’s Organisation (ENPO) has endorsed ENSF’s ultimatum served on the state government on the issue of deprivation of job reservation policy. ENPO president S. Khoiwang Konyak and general secretary Manlang Phom in a press note said that the resolution was made during the emergency meeting of the CEC on July 17.
After reviewing the ultimatum, the house fully endorsed ENSF for pressing upon the government for implementation of the demands, ENPO stated.  It said that the people of eastern Nagaland were “extremely denied of the privileges” of the right to employment, and since the creation of statehood, the privilege of employment as an equal fundamental right was ever elusive from day one– December 1, 1963. Drawing the attention of the state government, ENPO appealed the latter to address the demand of ENSF in the fundamental interest of the fellow eastern Nagas of Nagaland state.
