Organizations dismayed over pathetic NH-155

Various Tuensang based organizations including, Nagaland Contractors  Supplier  Union (NCSU) Tuensang unit,  Naga Farmers Association Tuensang, Eastern Farming Association,Tuensang, ENSUD, NCSU Nagaland have expressed dismay over the pathetic road condition along National Highway (NH)- 155 from  0 point  to 10 kms Check Post Tuensang. 

In a joint press release issued by former deputy chairman TTC and general secretary NCSU Tuensang unit H. Muzung Yim; president Naga Farmers Association Tuensang Manya Sipong Chang; general secretary Eastern Farming Association Tuensang H. Z.  Mangyang Chang; speaker ENSUD Thrijungliba Sangtam and vice president NCSU Nagaland I. Namang Chang alleged that light vehicles were unable to ply on the road stretch due to potholes. The organizations have asked the responsible authority to begin repairing the road within one month.

The release  further  stated that  despite  repeated  appeals, authorities have turned  a deaf ear  to the plea of the public thus causing  untold  sufferings to the people in the area. 

The organizations also reiterated their demand for the immediate improvement of the road condition along NH-155 particularly Tuensang to Mokokchung road. They said further step motherly treatment to the people of far flung areas would not be tolerated.
