While conducting surprise checking at Kigwema and Mima village junction along NH-2 May 19, the combine team of E/13 NAP (IR) and Khuzama P.S personnel intercepted one Maruti Alto car (Local Taxi) B/R No. NL-01T-7972.
On thorough search, the team recovered 2000 bottles of banned Phensedhl cough syrup from the possession of Halunu Rekhanamai (32), son of Lunu a.k.a Luni, Village, Thingba Khullen, Senapati (Manipur), currently residing at Seikhazou colony Kohima and Veihru Yumai, son of late Weikho Yumai, Village – Liyai (Zhaimai), Senapati (Manipur), presently add– Midland colony Kohima.
In this connection, a regular case has been registered against the duo for further investigation.
