DEO Phek conducts drawing contest

To commemorate National Science Day, a district level drawing competition on the theme “Science for nation’s building” was conducted by District Education Officer (DEO), Phek, on March 20 at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Phek. The competition was sponsored by Directorate of Science and Technology Department.

Assistant Professor and HOD (Botany) of Phek College, Keneizoulhou Kesiezie, was the chief judge with other two co-judges for the competition. 

Hui Khesoh, Class X student of Royal Foundation School, Phek, was declared the winner, while Veroto Vero, Class VIII of Bishop Abraham Memorial School, Phek, and Zhokuvolu Khesoh, Class VI of GMS Tehephu were declared second and third winners respectively.  Certificates and cash prizes were awarded to the winners as well as to all the participants.
