Ektra, believed to be one of the largest serving companies in the world by Srithai Superware, was launched here Friday by Mita Chaudhary, Country manager Srithai Superware India (SSI) at Aier’s mansion, near IMC Dimapur where many aspiring entrepreneurs and housewives attended.
SSI was launched in India with its office at New Delhi on November 6, 2009, with the mission to give ‘women’ an opportunity to partner the financial responsibilities of her family and fulfilling her aspiration too. It was a fully integrated company that owns six brands with single level company.
While launching Ektra, Mita Chaudhary, Country manager SSI said Ektra was one of the world’s largest and most trusted manufacturers of 100% melamine tableware. Ektra has a high quality range of melamine tableware in India. It is for metro living and stylish that reflects today’s lifestyle.
“But India has not yet tasted the best Melamine” added Mita. Mita also said that in Northeast (NE), Mizoram was the first state where Ektra company was launched and has become the No. 1 market in Ektra business covering nearly 50% in India, followed by Nagaland.
Mita said Elizabeth of Dimapur would be the director for Ektra in Nagaland, under ‘Delight sales and distribution’. Adding NE women were the most hardworking in the country, Mita said Ektra company would explore Nagaland through many hardworking women.
Describing it as a big opportunity for Naga women, she told the participants that if they were interested to join Ektra then they should not take it as a hobby but to be active on their part and explore the business.
