Kevijau Village Women Organisation (KVWO) has condemned the physical assault on a missionary, Rev. Johnson and his wife by a traffic policeman on March 5 at Plaza Police point Dimapur.
In a press release, president, Kevijau colony Dimapur, R Atula Pongen and secretary Nancy S termed the act as “shameful” and “disgraceful” when Nagas proudly claim the slogan “Nagaland for Christ”.
KVWO also appealed the police to take stringent measures so that such acts are not repeated in future.
