The monthly district planning and development board Kiphire was held at the official chamber of DC Kiphire with Kesonyu Yhome IAS deputy commissioner and vice chairmen DPDB addressing the meeting on January 24.
DC requested all head of offices to treat election matters seriously and officers to be in station till the election process is over.
He said no station leave would be granted unless permitted by the Chief Election Officer for exemption, and asked the officers to have separate meetings with staff so that no confusion arises out of different assignments.
Yhome also informed the house that the first phase of election training would start from January 28 to 30 and all persons involved have been requested to attend the training compulsorily.
Failing which, action may be taken and also asked the officers to treat the matter seriously, DC added.
While reviewing the earlier meeting minute, DC asked the departments yet to submit contribution for construction of toilet at Mt Saramati to do so at the earliest.
DPDB members also welcomed ADC Pungro Tianu, Chumben EAC, Tsalito PO and other members who werer recently been posted to the district and bade farewell to Temjensenla Jamir, S.P Kiphire who has been transferred and DEO & SDO (PWD) on retirement from the district.
The meeting also discussed agendas submitted by SDEO Kiphire on upgradation of school.
