Additional chief secretary & commissioner Nagaland, Banuo Z. Jamir will take over as the chief secretary of the state with effect from February 1. According to a notification by the department of P&AR (personnel ‘A’ branch), this was effected as Alemtemshi Jamir would be voluntarily retiring from January 31. Banuo Z. Jamir would also be holding the charge of Border Affairs.
