Following a tip off, Dimapur police and special branch arrested an extortionist on May 19 at Notun Basti. According to Dimapur police PRO, the extortionist identified as Vishika Yepthomi @ Vika, son of Atohe Yepthomi of Pimla village was found threatening a non-local businessman and demanding Rs.10,000 in the name of NSCN(K). A demand note in the name of the organization was recovered from the possession of the accused. Police have registered a case in this connection.
