46 Assam Rifles apprehended one NSCN (K) cadre identified as ‘sergeant major’ Horiba Sangtam (22) CHM of NSCN (K) Sangtam region, son of Mutrong resident of Singrep village, Kiphire district at gen Area Longkokre Village, Kiphire district.
The jawans also seized one .22 rifle with magazine, six live rounds and two hand grenades have been recovered from the apprehended cadre. The cadre was later handed over to Kiphire police.
