Zeliangrong Baudi (ZB) Assam, Manipur and Nagaland (AMN) has clarified that there was no Zeliangrong Union (ZU) in Assam and Nagaland and that Zeliangrong Union, Manipur (ZUM) did not come under ZB (AMN).
In a statement, ZB (AMN) president Raitu Chawang also said ZUM did not carry the mandate of Zeliangrong people and the union was not affiliated to United Naga Council (UNC) and Naga Hoho.
He made it clear that any statement issued by ZUM did not carry the mandate of Zeliangrong people of the three states Assam, Manipur and Nagaland.
Meanwhile, ZB (AMN) said it remained firm in its position for an early and long lasting solution to the “Indo-Naga political problems” which was honorable and acceptable to the Nagas.
