‘Battle of the Bands’ screening round culminates; 11 bands in the fray for 2nd round

Auditions for the Battle of the Bands rock contest culminated in Dimapur, Saturday. Four bands – Papersky, Lines of Note, The Duskfall and Infinity on High were selected at the Dimapur leg of the auditions.
The four bands will meet five other bands from Kohima and two from Mokokchung at the second round. All the eleven bands will slug it out at the second elimination round scheduled on October 14 at ‘The Garden’, Naga Shopping Arcade, Dimapur. Each band performing in the October 14 event will have to impress the judging panel as well as the fans for entry to the final round.  Fan-votes plus the judges’ votes will decide the bands place in the competition. More updates will be made available in the lead up to the second elimination round.
