In a rejoinder to the news item “TRPO rally against issue of ticket” published on Saturday, Thang Range Public Organization (TRPO) general secretary, Nokyan Village L. Bukei, INC 56 Noklak A/C president, Thang (Noklak Village) P. Peshen and Head GB Thang (Noklak Village) Heme have clarified and rubbished the “baseless” and “fictitious allegations.”
The rejoinder said as members of TRPO, the signatories said the rally was initiated by handful of “vested individuals” and after being “brainwashed, some persons were made to speak.”
Terming the report as “ridiculous and childish”, the signatories said the purported decision taken in the rally for not allowing the movement of INC in TRPO jurisdiction clearly showed “their hidden mindset and one sided approach.”
Stating that it only instilled the feeling of “enmity in the minds of the innocent public”, they said such “absurd decision” was against the very essence of democracy.
They added that TRPO was respectable organization not to be used by anybody for “selfish motive” as every member of an organization under the jurisdiction was free to support and exercise their franchise in a peaceful manner.
