Acting on specific information, troops of 37 Assam Rifles (AR) under the aegis of HQ 6 Sector AR conducted a search operation on May 4, at Chumukedima town and apprehended two miscreants along with one 9 mm pistol and ammunition. Apprehend individual were identified as Ethomo Magh (23) and Sikiya Rengma (57) both residing at Tseminyu, Kohima. Later apprehended individuals were handed over to Diphupar Police Station.
