Shillong Chamber Choir to perform at the opening of KBC Season 8

Famed Shillong Chamber Choir is all set to perform at the opening of “Kaun Banega Corepati” Season 8 which is schedule to be aired on Sony TV on August 17, 8:30 p.m. onwards.

The performance will also feature host of the show, Amitabh Bachchan together with the Choir.

The opening ceremony was held LIVE at the Surat International Exhibition and Convention

Centre (SIECC), Gujarat and the event was attended by the VIPs and citizens of Surat filled the 8000 capacity venue.

The highlight of the show was the interaction between  Amitabh Bachchan and the choir bringing about national integration through music. The choir sang ‘Vande Mataram’, a song written & composed by Neil Nongkynrih, as a concluding act.
