Embarking on the noble mission of helping the sick and needy, Naga mothers’ association (NMA) of unity village, 5th mile Dimapur organized a free medical camp July 19 at government primary school, Unity village.
Association’s president Hekatoli Zhimomi said its members had organized free medical camp for the first time in the village. Stating that the camp concluded successfully, she said more than 600 patients were treated with first aid, free screening of TB, malaria, Hepatitis B and C.
NMA Unity village members have acknowledged the team led by blood bank in-charge, Dimapur District Hospital (DHD) Dr.Temsu for unceasing efforts in looking after the patients and for free distribution of medicines.
Doctors from Dimapur District Hospital (DHD), Police referral hospital and private clinic treated the patients. Child OPD, medicine OPD, ENT OPD, PMR OPD, Eye OPD, T.B centre, Malaria, dental and gynecology were availed by the patients.
