NCC camp concludes in Sukhovi

Nagaland Girls Bn, NCC, Kohima, has conducted a combined annual training camp at Sukhovi in which 532 cadets from all over Nagaland from June 20- 29.
The opening address was delivered by Col Prem Prakash, Group Commander, NCC Group Head Quarter, Kohima, to all cadets in which he stressed the importance of inculcating the spirit of adventure and leadership qualities required by the leaders of tomorrow.
The 10 days camp gave an opportunity to study the NCC curriculum and took part in firing, rock climbing, jungle lane shooting and the obstacle course. In addition, cadets also participated in extra-curricular activities that included games, extempore speech, debate and cultural programme.
The camp culminated in a grand cultural evening in which the cadets gave a good account of the rich tradition, customs and talent of the Naga people. Brg. K Narayanan who was the chief guest of the cultural programme conveyed his appreciation to the cadets for successfully completing the camp and wished them luck in their future endeavours.
