Department of Agriculture, Wokha conducted training on Integrated Pest Management (IPM) on May 27 at Riphyim New Village. During the training Mhonchumo Murry (A.I.) resource person spoke on the concept of IPM and objectives of farmer’s field school and Chichanbeni Yanthan (A.F.A) spoke in detail about the Life cycle of stemborer and its management. Mhathung Odyuo (A.O.) and Jandemo Yanthan (A.F.A) conducted ballot box test on the farmers which proved to be an effective learning session. IPM kits were distributed to all the 30 farmers who attended the training programme.
