NCSU Mon unit, KU settle differences amicably

Differences that cropped up between Nagaland Contractors and Suppliers’ Union (NCSU), Mon unit and Konyak Union (KU) over issuing of work order under Mon sector for the construction of foothill road have now been “amicably” settled. In a press release, class-I contractor D. Yongnyak Konyak claimed that both NCSU Mon unit and KU had already consulted each other and have agreed that the work should be awarded to class-I contractor Pongshi Phom by the Road and Bridges (R&B). Earlier, NCSU Mon unit had alleged that KU did not consult Konyak class 1 contactors prior to submitting a representation to the R&B department.
