Mangkolemba Sub Division Coal Contractors’ Union (MSDCCU) has claimed that it received a tax demand letter from one “capt.’ Tongpang, commander, Ao Region, Naga/Army, NSCN/GPRN wherein he has demanded Rs. 50,000 from each coal contractor in Mangkolemba sub-division for the year 2013-14 latest by May 30 failing which he would initiate stern action at any cost.
This was informed by MSDCCU president Temjenwati and secretary Tinukaba said that “without any disrespect and disregard to any individual/organization” the organization was upholding the decision and support the Ao Senden’s pledge No. 4 made on August 29, 2003 at a general emergency session held at Town Hall (New), Mokokchung.
MSDCCU decided to withhold any payment whatsoever to the NSCN (K) till further notice/information from the Ao Senden.
