XVSU appeals for resolving pending salary

Xelhozhe village students’ union (XVSU) has appealed to the state minister for school education to intervene and resolve the ongoing crisis of non- payment of salary and arrears to SSA teachers.

In a press release, XVSU president H Aboka Zhimomi stated that SSA teachers were one of the highly qualified and well-equipped teachers among government teachers at high school level in present times. However, the union said instead of awarding and acknowledging their contributions, they were not given their hard earned monthly salary on time.

Whatever the reasons might be, the XVSU said the issue should not be turned into ‘political blame game’ and requested the responsible minister to resolve the crisis at the earliest.
