Justin Bieber Could Get 2 & 1/2 Years In Jail For DUI Arrest

Justin Bieber is about to be spending quite a bit of time in Miami. The 19-year-old reportedly rejected a plea deal that offered him to plead no contest to reckless driving but did state that he would have to submit to random drug testing for the next nine months. Justin and his camp are saying no way, according to TMZ, and now they’re set to battle it out in court.
Justin and his attorney, Roy Black, are headed to court because they are not happy with the plea deal that prosecutors have offered them. But despite the fact that Justin admitted to smoking marijuana, and drinking a beer when he was pulled over, there are several reasons why Justin’s team thinks they can prevail.
The first reason is that police claimed Justin was drunk but he only blew a .014. Justin was also accused of drag racing, but the GPS on the car states he was only driving 27 mph. But if Justin is found guilty of a DUI, resisting arrest and driving on an expired license, he could spend up to 2 and half years in jail!
So what will he be going to trial for exactly? DUI (prescription meds), driving on an expired license, and resisting arrest. Oh, and for the publicity. That’s tax payers money well spent. Speaking of which, The White House are due to pass comment regarding that petition to get Bieber’s Green Card revoked. By law they had “to make an official response if more than 100,000 people sign before 22 February.” According to The Daily Mail, said petition “has drawn nearly 261,000 signatures as of (last) Friday morning, becoming the second most popular cause in the three-year history of the White House site.”
