Excise seize ganja

Excise duty party manning Chumukedima cgeck gate under the command of AIE Allen W. Jami seized 180 Kgs of contraband ganja at Chumukedima excise check gate on November 7.
The contraband ganja was detected from the luggage compartment of a Tata Indigo Manza and driver of the car M. Bevei Poumai was apprehended for transporting it in violation of NDPS Act.
The driver has been handed over to judicial custody for further investigation.
