Pochury Baptist Church Council (PBCC) while appreciating individuals and organizations of 20 assembly constituency Meluri for their support in ensuring ‘Clean election campaign’ initiated by NBCC has also condemned the post elections violence on February 23 midnight.
In a press release issued by president PBCC, Reverend Tivishe while condemning the incident said that individual’s properties worth lakhs of rupees were destroyed in the vandalism and destruction which arose after a “misunderstanding” between the NPF and Congress party supporters.
Appealing all Pochury citizens to co-exist peacefully, PBCC has also appreciated various organizations namely Pochury public forum, Pochury mother association, PBCC staff, Pochury Christian forum member, Apoksah churches and administrators of Meluri sub-division for defusing the tension.
