
Ato Area Students’ Union (AASU)’s 24th annual conference concluded on December 29 at Nihokhu village.
Hundreds of students from villages under Ato area attended the three-day conference.
NPF central vice president Tokuho Suhoi Neho graced the session on the concluding day as guest of honour.
As a former student leader, guest of honour said association of students provided an ample platform for students to explore and exchange knowledge and talent with one another thereby creating an atmosphere of healthy competition among them.
“Healthy competition helps the society grow,” he added.
Maintaining no one could be successful in life without having one’s own ambition, Tokuho therefore encouraged the students to have aim in life and pursue their aspiration with hard work and sincerity while also not forgetting their obligation towards the society.
On the usage of internet, which was a common phenomenon of present day’s world, he reminded the students about negative effects of misusing internet and that it should be used for good purpose. He called upon the students to derive good examples from one another.
Host of public leaders and NPF party workers accompanied the guest of honour to the session. Besides electing a new team of office bearers, various literary, cultural and sports competition were also held during the conference.
