Nagaland is all geared up for the first round of ‘IPPI’ Polio Sunday to be held on January 20 along with the rest of the country.
Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Dimapur, Dr. Sukhato A. Sema has requested all parents to bring their children between 0-5 years to the nearest polio booth in their locality for Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV) starting 8 a.m.
MON: District Task Force (DTF) for IPPI and routine immunization, Mon, monthly meeting was held on January 16 under the chairmanship of deputy commissioner.
The members briefed on various issues on Intensive Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) programme to immunize all children between 0-5 years with OPV where it also decided to conduct polio immunization at the booth on January 20 and house to house visit on January 21 and 22.
