Yimchungru Tribal Council (YTC) has appealed to the NNPGs to maintain peace in every way possible. YTC president, Throngso Yimchunger and general secretary, Laji Luyanba, in a press release also reaffirmed the council’s support for the NNPGs, the on-going peace talks and an early solution. The appeal was made after a coordination meeting between YTC and the NNPGs of Yimchungru on July 20 in Dimapur, which was called by the Yimchungru NNPGs. The release said that the on-going peace process was also discussed in the meeting.
