PVSU condemns rape attempt

The Pongidong Village Student’s Union (PVSU) has vehemently condemned, what it termed as a “most barbaric and inhuman act,” of one Nkhyingo Humtsoe, son of Jonbamo Humtsoe, who allegedly attempted to rape an aged woman on the evening of June 13. A condemnation note from PVSU president Jonjibemo Tsopoe and general secretary Mhajamo Humtsoe appealed to the law enforcing authority to award befitting punishment to the alleged accused as per law without delay in order to avoid recurrence of such heinous crimes in the future. The union also wished the victim speedy recovery and conveyed prayers for strength for the victim’s family.
