PSU flays Oct 28 firing

Pochury Students’ Union (PSU) has strongly condemned the recent factional clashes that took place at Zatsii on October 28 under Meluri sub-division. 

PSU said that the unrest occurrence in and around the jurisdiction of the area creates hectic and fear in the minds of the public and urged all to shun violence and maintain congenial atmosphere in the society.

PSU added that these kinds of incidents are also creating hardship for the students as final exams were approaching and added that students need peaceful environment to mentally prepare for exams.

The union then appealed every responsible political leader to pay the heed to the appeals and expressed hope that the faction leaders would pave way to have peace among Naga brethren.
