Vestition of the novices

Novice Angela Magh of Rengma tribe from Tesophenyu village, Nagaland, Novice Francy Tigga of Adivasi tribe from Halem village Assam, Novice Lucina Rabha of Rabha tribe from Tephakat village, Assam and Novice Genevieive Myamiai of Pouvmai tribe from Liye village, Manipur had their religious profession and vestition during a solemn Eucharistic celebration presided over by Most Rev. John Thomas Kattrukudiyil Bishop of Itanagar and concelebrated by many priests.

The solemn ceremony was attended by many from far and near, parents, relatives, friends and well wishers and Parishners of St. Joseph Parish, Chumukedima as they dedicated themselves to God and His people.

SABS family of which they have become members by their religious profession and vestition working in various parts of North- East is engaged in reaching out to people through their Eucharistic Apostolate. Following the directives of their of founder venerable Thomas Kurialacherry who believes that through women education there will be able to transform the society, they are engaged in education of women and prepare them for life.

The entire church and SABS family thank the Lord for the manifold blessings the Lord has showered on the congregation.
The Bishop during Holy Mass, congratulated the novices and their parents for the great sacrifices they have made for God and His people.

He also said that religious are icons representing the presence of Christ in the world. Rev. Mother Sibia, Provincial Superior welcomed the congregation gathered for the solemn celebration.

The presence of Rev. Sr. Cyrilla SABS the General Councillor added much joy and happiness to everyone.
