The culmination of Sumi Ahuna 2013 was marked by crowning of Miss Sumi Ahuna at town hall Zunheboto with parliamentary secretary soil & water conservation and fisheries, Shetoi Sumi as the chief guest.
Miss Sumi Ahuna 2013 was held under the theme “Beauty for Amity”, where 15 contestants from Kohima, Dimapur and Zunheboto took part in the competition.
Atheli Zhimo was crowned Miss Sumi Ahuna 2013 and also bagged the subtitle Miss Personality followed by Alivi Achumi as the 1st runners-up and Eziza Sumi as the 2nd runners-up who also clinched the ‘Viewer’s Choice’ title. Atheli won a cash prize of Rs. 50000, while the 1st and 2nd runners-up won Rs. 35, 000 and Rs. 25, 000 respectively.
The subtitles- Miss Perfect 10, Miss Personality, Miss Photogenic, Miss Beautiful Smile, Miss Beautiful Skin and Viewers choice were also awarded with Rs. 10000 each.
Earlier, the evening began with a keynote address by the convenor organising committee Miss Sumi Ahuna 2013.
Jekugha Chishi and Abokali Jimomi anchored the programme. Special presentation by Kids World Montessori, Sunday School SBCZ, Immanuel School, Noghuli contestant NOH, RPB Hindi College Zunheboto and Alahuto colony youth Zunheboto were the other highlights of the evening.
