Starting its journey since October 1, the grand finale of NSACS’ Red Ribbon Superstar title culminated Monday with Making Merry from Kohima emerging as the ultimate winner.
MLA and advisor, MTF, Khriehu Liezietsu, was the chief guest, and actor and musician, Luke Kenny, the celebrity guest and chief judge.
The eleven district winners who converged at Dimapur District Sports Council (DDSC) stadium belted out a common song “Carry On”.
Paper Sky and Four Fields from Dimapur were placed second and third respectively. Other districts winners vying for the top slots were RASP (Mon), Rebirth (Longleng), The Purpose (Mokokchung), Naga Incarnate (Tuensang), Headgearz (Wokha), Soul Alliance (Peren), Crush & Burn (Kiphire), and Hardcore Addition (Phek).
Final headliner was NSACS Zero brand ambassador ‘Clueless Attention’ while Placid Pinch, Dimapur, and Summer Government, Kohima, were the guest bands.
Other judges included drummer of Incipit, Akum Jinger, Purple Fusion bassist, Mhathung Odyuo, and renowned guitarist of the state, Mhasheve Tetseo.
Multi Media Campaign organized by NSCAS is an annual event to create awareness throughout the state where awareness were delivered to the general public from the platform of music competition, various sports events, various festivals and other events of enjoyments, where the gathering people are sensitised.
The event partners were Unitex, Crescendo, Dream Cafe, Audio Garage, The Naga Blog, INDIHUT, Rattle & Hum Lounge and Space-M.
