Deputy commissioner & district election officer, Dimapur has expressed sincere gratitude to all government functionaries, security agencies, political party leaders and the electorate for the immense support and cooperation in facilitating the successful conduct of the recently-held elections to the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA).
According to DIPR, the Deputy commissioner & district election officer Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel also thanked the following functionaries and stakeholders for the same: Chief secretary/CEO / commissioner Nagaland/home commissioner / senior officials of Nagaland for their guidance and support; The Nagaland police and central forces deployed for the conduct of the elections have performed excellently under the leadership of the Commissioner of Police, Dimapur; All administrative officers (in the role of Returning Officers, AROs and various assignments), officials of AEO , NIC and DC office, who have worked relentlessly and spent sleepless nights for months in the run-up to the elections; Officers and staff of Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) for the active support and logistic arrangements; Departmental officers and staff who have worked hard and contributed in various assignments and capacities; Principal & faculties of Dimapur Government College for providing master trainers and campus; All polling personnel deployed on the polling day for the excellent job; Chairmen/GBs of all villages/colonies/wards of Dimapur district; All political parties /contesting candidate/agent for their understanding and cooperation; Public leaders, NGO leaders, Church leaders and other stakeholders for their continuous support; DPRO/Nagaland Post/Eastern Mirror/Morung Express/ local dailies for their positive role in disseminating necessary information to the voters including SVEEP activities and electorate of Dimapur district.
