
Wikedon from Tening village was declared the winner of the Peren Voice Impact season 5 during the grand finale held at New Peren district HQ. Bamyile From Samziuram and Keringsamyile from Jalukie B were adjudged as first runner-up and most promising artiste of the event respectively.
Besides winning the award, Wikedon also won the viewers’ choice award.
The PVI season 5 was organised as part of the mini Hornbill fest commemorating the Zeliang festival Lamsimngyi and Chega Gadi which was celebrated from October 29 to 31.
The PVI season 5 was organised by the Peren District Music Society. Advisor of Rural Development, Government of Nagaland Dr. Neikiesalie Kire was the special guest for the event.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Kire appreciated the society for organising such an event which brought together various artistes from different corners of the district to compete on one platform.
Panel of judges for the competition included Albert N Hau, Egong N Ipuing and Kebana Thou.
