”The Duo” performs in Dimapur

 The Life Music Academy in association with Christian Institute of Health Science and Research held a concert on the December 10 at CIHSR campus. The concert was for greater humanitarian cause to raise Poor Patient Fund for CIHSR.  On December 11 a masterclass and later concert was held at Acacia Hotel, hosted by the LMA, supported by Indian Guitar Federation, and partnered with Shofar Music Academy, NLIM and The Institute for Music Education.

 Lorenzo Bernardi,  an Italian International classical guitarist enthralled  the audience with pieces from the Baroque period by JS Bach, Romantic Period by Napoleon Coste and Agustin Barrios Mangorèand, 20th century  by Ennio Morricone.Mr.Bernardi came to Nagaland to share his art through his passion and  to enrich the western classical  musicculture in Nagaland.

He encouraged Nagas to pursue  music education as he believes, an education in music helps in overall development in one’s liife, and above all try to involve young kids into something meaningful to away from the streets and also away from the technology, the curse of this century. His belief is that music teaches young generation to become citizen of the world.
