JUNE 4 TRIPLE MURDER CASE
Sangtam Union Dimapur (SUD) and Zeme Council Dimapur (ZCD) has expressed dismay over the delay in arresting the culprits involved in the June 4 triple murder case at SW complex, Golaghat road Dimapur.
A joint statement issued by presidents of SUD, Er. Y.H Sangtam and ZCD Ngauloibe John informed that an emergency meeting was held on June 6, where both the union took serious note of the law enforcing agencies, not being able to make any breakthrough.
They said crimes and cold blooded murders taking place in Dimapur was a reflection of law and order breakdown. It said there were similar cases even in the past, where no arrest/ action had been taken against the criminals.
The union said it cannot let the innocence and patient of the two communities be subjugated further as nothing had been done despite submitting the joint representation on June 4.
In light of the above, SUD and ZCD have called for a general meeting of the two communities on June 15, 10 a.m. at DDSC stadium. The unions have further asked all male (18 years and above) of the two communities to attend the meeting clad in traditional attire without fail.
