Jotsoma Youth Organization (JYO) has clarified that Renpemo Tsopoe, who they apprehended for allegedly extorting money from trucks on June 2, is not the son of Rokosanuo Vitsu. A clarification from JYO president, Khrietuo Peseyie and general secretary, Rokozhalie Gwirie stated that during interrogation, the accused had claimed that he was the son of Rokosanuo Vitsu of Viswema village, which was recorded by an unauthorized person and later the recording went viral on social media. The clarification said that the real name of Renpemo’s mother is Wopeno Tsopoe and not as above. The organization expressed regret that the good name of the Vitsu clan of Viswema village had been tarnished through the malicious statement of Renpemo.
