Bayavü Area Panchayat appeals

June 19, 2018 | by admin

The Bayavü Area Panchayat (BAP) has appealed to the public and all concerned to park their cars properly and organize their events, meetings and agitations without obstructing traffic movement. BAP chairman, Khinyi Woch and president, Neiphrelie Metha, in a press release said that the Panchayat has been compelled to issue this appeal after restraining itself on numerous occasions.  The release said that while it sympathized with the plight of agitating groups in their fight for their legitimate rights and morally supported their struggles, due to the agitators and attendees of meetings parking their vehicles randomly in the colony roads, there were frequent cases of obstruction of free movement of vehicles of the colony residents and others resulting in complaints. It added that Bayavu colony is a big colony with a large number of residents hosting a number of offices, educational and other institutions and, it said, such obstructions were creating avoidable inconveniences hindering the timely movement of the general public to attend to cases like sicknesses and delivery cases, meetings, schools and offices etc. Failing compliance it along with the youth will be forced to take its own course of action, it said.
